Fallis made The Fast Supper in 2005 for  Gigi Gianuzzi's "Trolley Gallery". Inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous painting  "The Last Supper"  depicting the 13 disciple’s pious last meal before Judas’ betrayal of Christ. Abigail  says  "The depiction of the most famous meal of all time had advertised the biggest grossing book of the noughties "The Da Vinci Code".  I remember sitting on a bus and seeing this scaled up image hovering above fast food outlets in Leicester Square and like an apparition, The Fast Supper came to me. I was drawn to  the disciple’s hands, which appeared so lifelike and animated. I decided to reconfigure these strange appendages  in papier maché.  Thirteen pairs of dismembered hands protrude from a wall holding various fast foods,  McJudas grabs a McDonalds take out bag, Jesus brandishes a kinetic rubber fish and Saint Thomas’ doubting finger points to an open fleshy Donor Kebab.....
